As a founding employee of Fire Rover, Lindsey Scharg has been part of the company’s story from day one. Shortly after earning her degree from Michigan State University, she joined the Fire Rover team and helped bring the company’s groundbreaking fire detection and suppression technology to the industries that needed it most.
Today, Lindsey serves as Vice President of Sales, where she works closely with customers across waste, recycling, scrap, manufacturing, and other high-risk sectors to ensure their facilities are protected from fire hazards. With a background in advertising and marketing, she has played a key role in transforming Fire Rover from an early-stage idea into an industry-recognized, FM Approved solution trusted by hundreds of operations across North America.
Lindsey is known for her deep technical understanding of proactive fire detection — from thermal imaging and flame analytics to smoke detection and remote suppression — and her ability to translate complex technology into meaningful protection for her customers. Her work is driven by a genuine passion for helping companies prevent catastrophic losses and keep employees and first responders safe.
A Waste360 40 Under 40 award recipient, Lindsey is recognized for her leadership, customer dedication, and commitment to advancing fire safety across industrial environments. She remains actively involved in industry conferences, associations, and customer events, where she advocates for smarter, more effective approaches to fire prevention.
